Personalized Valentine’s Songs Offered by the Golden Crescent Chorus
AVON LAKE, OH — Once again, the Golden Crescent Chorus will offer a Singing Valentine in four-part harmony. Barbershop quartets from the Golden Crescent Chorus will be delivering Singing Valentines to area sweethearts anytime, anyplace, anywhere from Thursday, Feb. 11 through Sunday, Feb. 14.
The annual tradition that helps support local charities, music education and entertainment programs for seniors is being offered again this year.
Recipients, including moms and dads, friends, sweethearts and relatives, will receive three great love songs, a personalized Valentine card and a long-stemmed red rose. An individual contribution of $40 for singles and $60 for groups will help support the chapter’s causes.
“Last year we delivered singing valentines for loved ones at home, work, school, hospitals, retirement and nursing homes, any place where four of our barbershoppers could get together and bust a few chords,” chapter president Herb Eglinski said. “We had loads of fun and the reception was fabulous.”
The Golden Crescent Chorus is the Lorain Chapter of The Harmony Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to perpetuating the barbershop style of a cappella singing.
